Mr. Tipple’s Jazz Night for Women of Color
We recently hosted an event for the women of color in our community to come together for a magical night at Mr. Tipple’s Jazz Club — a place that feels like stepping into another era with its cozy, old-fashioned charm and incredible live music.
The night kicked off with a champagne welcome (because every queen deserves bubbles), and the gals each received a craft cocktail — on the house — to sip on as they soaked in the vibes. The setting was perfect: low lights, rich music, and the kind of atmosphere that wraps you in nostalgia.
The live band was phenomenal, with the singer taking a moment to share just how special it is to have a space like Mr. Tipple’s: a place that continues to champion live jazz music, even after the challenges of the pandemic. Their performance set the tone for an evening that celebrated connection, culture, and creativity.
By the end of the night, the room was filled with laughter and new friendships. Seeing so many women walk out smiling, knowing they’ve found community (and a little slice of jazz magic) was the highlight of it all.
A huge thank-you to Mr. Tipple’s for hosting such a memorable evening and to everyone who came and made the night so special. We can’t wait to see you at the next event — because when this community comes together, it’s music to our ears.
