Career Panel at Notion
In September, we gathered for an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of wisdom. Moderated by our very own Katherine Chuang, Director of Strategic Initiatives, and our founder, Helen Morris, the San Francisco Women’s Social Club brought together a powerhouse career panel at Notion HQ.
PSA: Notion isn’t just where you organize your to-do list; it’s a connected workspace that helps teams and individuals bring their ideas to life. We got a glimpse into how Notion is rethinking productivity, and honestly, we’re obsessed.
Anyway, here’s the tea. We heard from three incredible women who are absolutely crushing it in their careers:

Their stories were equal parts inspiring and relatable, proving that even the most successful women face challenges like imposter syndrome and self-doubt. They walked us through how they’ve learned to advocate for themselves in male-dominated spaces and the role mentorship has played in shaping their journeys.
The topics hit close to home:
Imposter syndrome. We’ve all been there. But the panelists reminded us that as we grow, we should learn to own our accomplishments.
Advocating for yourself. They gave us practical tips to speak up, ask for what we deserve, and let our work shine.
The value of mentorship. It’s not just nice to have — it’s essential. Whether you’re the mentor or the mentee, there’s so much power in learning from each other.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an SFWSC event without good food and great vibes. Over dinner, we got to connect with some amazing women in the room, sharing our own wins, challenges, and dreams. We were even able to host 50 college students for free — a reminder of why lifting up the next generation matters so much.
