Welcome to the San Francisco Women's Social Club ("SFWSC"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website.

Membership

ELIGIBILITY

Membership to the SFWSC is open to women aged 18 and older. By registering as a member, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION

  • To become a member, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate and complete information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

As a member, you will have access to free and paid in-person events organized by the SFWSC. Event participation is subject to availability and may require advance registration.

As a member, you are not guaranteed a spot in an official SFWSC event. Events are offered at a first come, first serve basis.

Events

EVENT PARTICIPATION

  • Members can sign up for both free and paid events.

  • Events are subject to change or cancellation at the discretion of the SFWSC.

  • By signing up for an event, you agree to comply with the event-specific guidelines and rules.

  • By signing up for an event and participating in an event, you agree to be photographed and release SFWSC to use any and all photographs for marketing purposes.

PAYMENT

  • Paid events require payment at the time of registration.

  • All payments are non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by the SFWSC.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By participating in SFWSC events, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

  • Interaction with other members: As the community is open to all eligible women, SFWSC cannot guarantee the background, behavior, or actions of other members.

  • Physical activity: Some events may involve physical activity, which carries inherent risks of injury.

  • Travel: Participation in events may require travel, which carries risks of accidents or incidents.

You assume all risks associated with participation in SFWSC events and agree that SFWSC is not liable for any harm, injury, or loss you may experience.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Members are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all SFWSC events and in all communications. Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind.

  • Violent or threatening behavior.

  • Illegal activities.

SFWSC reserves the right to terminate your membership and access to events if you violate this Code of Conduct or are unable to verify your identity upon request.

No Promotions or Spam

Members agree to not post any advertisements, spam, or irrelevant links and post anything for sale or promotion without prior approval. Members understand that in doing so may lead to my immediate removal from the SFWSC.

Please note that this group is not intended for and should not be used in place of consulting a professional or expert for any medical, dietary, and other related queries.

TERMS OF USE

Any content posted in this group may be used by SFWSC on social media, email, website, and any other owned channels

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SFWSC and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our website or services.

  • Any events or interactions facilitated through our website.

  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SFWSC and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our website or services, your violation of these Terms, or your participation in SFWSC events.
